Objectives
The client's goal was to develop a window campaign with the motto "a gift can mean so much more". An XXL gift should definitely be the focus of the window. The client also wanted to integrate mechanics to make the shop window more interesting. the xxl gifts should function as merchandise carriers and set the scene for the product. The client also wanted to integrate the campaign images in the shop window. The shop windows of the individual stores should be completely equipped with a background. A christmas design should be found for this. The XXL gifts should also be designed in the client's original gift wrapping paper.
The xxl gifts had to be designed according to the individual circumstances of the stores. Therefore, both hanging gifts and gifts with a stand had to be built. The mechanism should function independently so that no store employee has to enter the shop windows. The wrapping paper should be produced in the original colours Pantone 1945c and a rosé-gold. For the rose gold, special material from France was used, which is normally used for the interior construction of luxury cars.
How were the objectives met?
The aim of the shop window design was to develop a window for Christmas that focuses on an XXL gift. The challenge was to ensure that the small beauty products did not look lost in the large gift. Therefore, an XXL gift was built according to the matryoshka principle, in which smaller and smaller gifts emerge from a large gift. The products were additionally staged by a turntable and a spot integrated into the gift. This way, the XXL gift was the focus of the shop window, but the product was the focus of the gift. The photos of the Christmas campaign requested by the customer were also printed on glass and integrated in the shop window. The model is looking at the XXL gift packages.
In this way, all of the client's wishes could be implemented and a shop window concept was created that was the highlight of the city centre. For the different stores and shop windows, individual sizes of the gifts were built to perfectly suit the customer's circumstances. the client's goal of putting the gifts in the spotlight was additionally supported by a window sticker. "A gift can mean so much more" was the motto of the Christmas campaign and the shop window.
