Description
Project objective was to develop a temporary freestanding activation for the upcoming launch of Pepsi’s Mountain Dew DewNITED promotion. This promotion featured 50 different/collectible 20 oz bottles of Mountain Dew/Diet Mountain Dew and a brand-new flavor, “Liberty Dew” with state specific product labels. The promotion included a “Get $100 Gift card after collecting the labels for all 50 states”.
A display awash in Dew’s iconic green color and a dramatic product presentation attracted shoppers to this unique angled structure! A combination of stair stepped and shallow product cells created the needed visibility for the collectible 20-ounce bottles, while an oversized Unites States silhouette clad with product imagery and messaging clearly identified the product offering and promotion.
Forty-Eight different headers were manufactured for this promotion, each included illustrated imagery germane to each state/region of the US. The imagery and the “Get $100 Offer” immediately connected and resonated with shoppers! Due to the unique volumes needed for production, many of the headers were digitally printed (avoiding litho prep and mounting costs). States/Regions requiring larger display quantities utilized conventionally (litho mounted corrugate) produced headers. The main body of the display was flexo printed with spot labeled graphic areas. All components were constructed from corrugate due to budget and needed lifespan. Steel rods (vs. lock seam tubing) were utilized under the shelving to support the required product weight.
Display shipped knocked down and was assembled in-store by Pepsi route personnel.
