Description
The primary goal was to create a family of permanent displays that would ensure a greater brand consistency for TaylorMade across the network of independent and pro-shop retailers, helping TaylorMade to establish a permanent foothold in these locations across Canada. Given the small footprint of these retail locations, it was important to design displays that would offer flexibility in the amount and the type of product being merchandized, dependent upon the varying sell through from location to location. The success of getting these displays into these target retailers was largely due to the available customization, and not trying to go to market with a one-size-fits-all solution.
The design uses strong clean lines, introducing a woodgrain aesthetic to anchor the headers and TaylorMade logo to create a standardized look that would be recognized across any pro-shop environment. The neutral white and woodgrain of the display creates the recognizable brand presence, while allowing the products on display, and the interchangeable graphics to be the hero on the display. These displays were produced to forecast and are released from inventory, complete with the appropriate product and promotional signage specific to the retailer, allowing TaylorMade to react to in-field requests quickly and accurately.
These displays have allowed TaylorMade to secure permanent placement at an additional 30% of the green grass retailers, with multiple retailers now requesting secondary displays to merchandise other TaylorMade products.
